Travel Reimbursement Application

The Foundation to Fight H-ABC/TUBB4A (Foundation) offers partial travel reimbursement grants to help families attend the 2026 TUBB4A Family Conference held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 23, 2026. Grants are intended to assist with travel and accomodations. Submissions are reviewed based on financial need and funding availability.

Eligibility & Guidelines

  • Mini-Grants are available to families who demonstrate the need for financial assistance to attend the 2026 TUBB4A Family Conference, scheduled for May 23, 2026.

  • Mini-Grant amounts vary based on need, distance traveled, and total applications.

    Only one grant per family/household is available.

  • Priority may be given to families who have not received assistance in the last 12 months.

  • Reimbursement occurs after travel, upon submission of receipts.

Important Dates:

  • Priority Application Deadline: DATE

  • Grant Notification: DATE

  • Rolling applications will be accepted after the priority deadline based on fund availability.

Condition of Acceptance:

If awarded a grant you agree to the following:

  • Conference Registration: You will register, pay for, and attend the 2026 TUBB4A Family Conference scheduled for May 23rd, 2026.

  • Sharing Your Experience: You will complete a Foundation’s post event survey and provide written reflections, photos, and/or videos by DATE.

  • By accepting the grant, you grant the the Foundation permission to use any photos or videos taken during the event, including those featuring your family, for promotional, educational, or fundraising purposes. This includes materials submitted by you as part of the Post Event survey.

  • Funding Decisions: All travel reimbursement decisions are made at the discretion of the Foundation. Funding is limited and not guaranteed. The Foundation’s decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
